How to Clean a Neglected Oven: Restoring an Oven That Hasn’t Been Cleaned in Years

If your oven hasn’t been cleaned for years, tackling the grime can seem overwhelming. However, with the right approach, even the dirtiest oven can be restored to a near-new condition.

Step 1: Loosen the Buildup

Start by removing the oven racks and soaking them in warm, soapy water with baking soda. If they are heavily soiled, leave them overnight before scrubbing with a sponge or steel wool.
